The first time on rollerblades in 2 years. It was so much fun!!! My legs feel a little weird but because I skipped out on my 12 miles this Sunday I wanted to start to do different things because I was feeling a little "burnt out" I love the mile I have been logging but Sunday was a weird day and I really was not "feeling it" so I opted out of doing ANY exercise. And it felt good till today...lol
I will be back on track tomorrow doing my early morning run.
The more I think about postponing my full marathon the more I think it is a better idea. I am excited about my half coming up and I will use that as a guide.

Feeling good about avoiding burning lungs, aches in body parts you didn't know exsisted, blisters on top of blisters, chaffing in unmentionable areas? Maybe you are more normal than I thought! LOL!
Seriously, I am glad you are going to listen to your body. It is much more important that you get in shape for the marathon than when you do it. If you don't do Detroit you can do LA and that gives me a winter run to prepare for which is a good thing.
Right now we can just get excited about SD and see what is to come after that fun adventure.
Oh! And I couldn't rollerblade 6 blocks without killing myself. Good job!
