Umm yeah... 6 miles. Not sure what to say about that.
Other than I AM GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED THAT I CAN NOT EVEN RUN A FULL MILE!!
I know I know, it takes time but this morning when I woke up I talked to myself saying "You are going to run the first 2 miles. You can do it no problems"
And then I get out there and my legs are like LEAD!! I know it will happen but I wanted it yesterday I just want to RUN 3 miles!! I would love to just go out for 1/2 hour and come back having knocked out 3 miles.
But on a good note today I learned that I can use a camel back instead of the waste pack which is a HUGE relief it did not even hurt my back at all which is good news. It also allowed me space to carry all the other crap I needed to take with me...lol Just in case

WooHoo!! Good job! I just got back from my 5 mile race. I ran *most* of the 5 miles, but I know what you mean...the first 2 miles are the hardest! It was just after the 2 1/2 mile mark that I walked, then the whole rest of the way was run/walk. Usually if I can get past that first mile, I know the "lead" feeling will go away and I can keep going another mile. Keep it up!
