2.6 miles 41 minutes

2 miles 32 minutes
The other .6 miles I took my dog with me for my cool down.

Things I learned today.

1. Having big boobs allows for extra room to carry house keys, energy beans and MP3 Player. Which was very useful because I returned my hydro pack yesterday because it was too bulky and heavy.

2. It is not a good idea to procrastinate all morning when you get up at 7 and then do your runs @ 11 in the morning when the sun is at its hottest (I KNOW this)

Ok so I feel better than I did the last time I did this distance and I almost feel like I could do more which is good.

However with my training starting next Sunday I am having so MUCH self doubt about if I can do this or not. I know I am just trying to freak myself out but I am going to have to find strength in myself this week to do this.

I need to start to eat better and make smarter food choices. I am not going to cut anything out I just need to start eating full meals and eat more healthy stuff. Snack on fruits and veggies ect.

I also need to start talking to myself about the training.

I CAN DO THIS.

I CAN DO THIS.

Maybe I will do another 2 miles tonight? I will wait till the sun goes down and see how I feel.

One day, one run, one step at a time! That is how you run a marathon, and YOU CAN DO IT!

I have had the occasional same though, "Oh! God! What have I agreed to?" It is normal, and the best remedy to that is a combination of postive thinking and training. You are great at both. You will be fine.

Moving and everything else on your plate is only going to add stress to your life, so use your running as a break from that and a time for you to have just for you! This will help you want to get out there.

P.S.

I am pretty impressed with your times. See what you are capable of without shin splints! You go girl!
